The Food Dignity team includes dozens of people at three universities, one college, and five community-based organizations.
At the University of Wyoming, the project director and principal investigator is Christine M. Porter. The UW team includes Alyssa Wechsler, Randa Jabbour, Cole Ehmke, Bill Gribb, Melvin Arthur, Shannon Conk, Elisabeth Lewis, Lacey Gaechter, and Rachael Budowle.
At Cornell University, Scott Peters is the lead faculty member. Other Cornell team members include Laurie Drinkwater, Phil McMichael, David Pelletier, Suzanne Gervais, Jonathan Russell-Anelli, Rachel Bezner Kerr, Monica Hargraves, John Armstrong, Megan Gregory, and Heather Scott.
At University of California, Davis, Katie Bradley works with Food Dignity as a research assistant while working towards her PhD in geography with Ryan Galt.
Ithaca College is leading research about student engagement with community food system action. Alicia Swords, Julia Lapp, Amy Frith, and Elan Shapiro make up the Ithaca College team.
The five community action-research partners are expanding their food system work and contributing to the case study research. The research includes conducting Photovoice, interviews and pre-post evaluations of some of their efforts. These projects are:

East New York Farms! (ENYF!) of United Community Centers in Brooklyn, New York. Leads are David Vigil and Daryl Marshall. Sarita Daftary is helping develop case studies for ENYF.
Blue Mountain Associates, Inc. of Wind River Reservation, Wyoming, home to the Eastern Shoshone and to the Northern Arapaho Sovereign Nations. Dr. Virginia Sutter is the lead there, assisted by James Sutter.
